Job Description:

 

The role of the Rutgers Telefund Student Development Officers is two-fold. They are fundraisers as well as good-will ambassadors for the university.

Student Development Officers contact alumni, parents and friends of Rutgers to:

  • Secure private support for important needs at the university.
  • Update address, phone and email information.
  • Keep alumni, parents and friends connected and informed about news, events and campus improvements.

**We are NOT telemarketers**

Hours of calling:

Monday - Thursday -- 7:00 - 10:00pm

Friday - Sunday -- 7:00pm - 10:00pm (we have no calling on Saturdays)

 

Qualifications:

 

 

~Must be able to work at least 4 set nights a week to start

~Excellent communication skills are needed as well as enthusiasm and confidence.
