Federal Work-Study recipients can refer to the job listings below, when searching for part-time employment on campus and in the Newark area.  Many positions are clerical, some involve research for University faculty, and others are community-based.  Before you review the list, please read the information regarding eligibility requirements and placement.

 Application and Eligibility Requirements

 Placement

Summer Employment

A limited number of FWS positions are available during the Summer preceding the academic year.  Those interested in employment must complete the Summer Job Application.  You do not need to be enrolled in summer courses, but you must be returning to Rutgers for the upcoming Fall semester.

If you are assigned a job, be advised: summer earnings will be subtracted from your academic year FWS award, thus limiting the hours you may work during the Fall and Spring semesters.  Because we may not be able to increase your award (due to cuts in Federal student aid funding), we recommend that you monitor your earnings carefully.
