Please assist us in using staff time efficiently by directing the following questions to the general student employment office number.  Any staff member can answer these questions. If a staff member is unavailable, press "0" for further assistance.


An asterisk (*) indicates that the information is also available on this web site.

  • *Payroll schedule (when are time reports due, where they can be dropped off, when the summer or academic year starts and ends, etc.);

  • Whether you can drop off a time report that is late;

  • Whether an assigned student needs payroll papers;

  • Whether a specific student has been assigned;

  • Whether a specific student has FWS;

  • *General  questions about FWSP pay rates;

  • *Questions about the Job Description Request Form;

  • *General questions about the FWSP;

  • Questions about any deadlines for submitting any forms to the Student Employment Office.

  • Questions about letters you receive from the SEO, including changes in the amount of the student's FWS, warning and termination letters as the student runs out of money, change in pay rates;

  • Questions about discrepancies on the monthly earnings report;

  • Questions about whether your allocation has been filled;

  • Questions about employment verification forms for former student employees.

  • Questions about posting a non-FWSP job on the jobs database.

  • Payroll problems that are more complicated than when payroll is due (An example would be if a student was not paid and the department was not aware that there was a problem);

  • Questions about whether your department should use a roster;

  • Questions about the off-campus FWSP.

  • Disciplinary problems and other work-related problems;

  • Questions of confidential nature;

  • Students who have been assigned but have not shown up within a reasonable period of time;

  • Questions about Student Employee of the Year.
